Default anybody with an Si 99-00 or B16 swap..HELP

Hello... My speedometer went bad so when I REPLACED the Speedometer I took out my old gauge face and needle. Before I did this swap..When I use to drive on the highway my RPM was at 5 the speedometer would be at 80 mph. Now with the new swap on the highway going at 80 mph the RPM now reads 4 1/4. I think my Speed is behind by 10 mph. Anybody with some help will be greatly apreciated..Anybody out there with a Civic Si 99-00 or with an B16 engine swap PLEASE HELP ME????[&o]

I dont have a B16 swap but if you pulled the needle off to get the guage face off then i can tell you first hand you pretty much toasted the guage cluster when you removed the needles they just do not work right after that. I did it once and had to replace the cluster

I think it's really close now because now going at 80mph the RPM reads about 4 1/2 to 4 3/4. Tomorrow morning I'm going to drive by this street where they have a digital MPH reader. It's there to encourage drivers to slow down just in case you are driving too fast..Yeah that really helps people out...Yeah right.lol.. I will test it there. I'll post my results....[&:]
