is it working on the car or on the test bench?
if its just working on the test bench then it could be the stock wiring is bad somewhere not turning on the alternator.
check for 14volts right off the alternator with the motor running and if it doesnt have power the cars not telling it to turn on.
if you have power then it could be in the wire going to the fuse box.
