Default Air Condition pressure

I recently took my '94 civic DX to the shop to have someone check for an air condition leak. Well they found a leak in the high side line. I have all the tools that I need to change the high side line, but I wanted to know what the correct pressure should be for both the high and low side lines. Currently the high side pressure is getting above 450 when the throtle is held down with the AC on. This is cause the high pressure sensor to turn of the compressor. I am hoping that the abnormal pressure is due to the 3 cans of dye that was put in the AC system. So before I try the diagnos the high pressure problem I want to change the high side line and put a vaccum on the AC system. So if anyone can tell me the correct amount of oil and coolant that need to be in the AC system that would be great.

450 PSI is too high, it should be around 200PSI on the high side and 40PSI on the low side. If you have access to a vacuum pump and a manifold guage set, hook everything up and put the A/C under a vacuum (assuming you don't have any refrigerant in there). If you can hold a vacuum, then you don't have a leak. That 450PSI thing is really weird since i haven't heard of pressures getting that high in the A/C system. I'll try to do some research on it when i get home and get back to you.
