hi im new and i just bought a 95 dx coupe and i was wondering about the air bags. the owners manual says to have them checked 10 years after install date. i don't plan to wreak the car but sh#t happens i was wondering if i it is a good idea to have them checked and if it would cost me anything to do so? thanks for your time

 

crash the car and see if they go off......that is free.

 

If your concerned enough to ask it may be worth the money to check it out. You can always call garages and get estimates before you go in for service. I always used the dealer as a last resort, as I did most of the work myself, as they will be your high cost.
