Default ac help

hey guys..want to know if you guys can help me out with my ac..i know its winter but want to get this **** fix before summer..so its a head start..well when i bought the car, the ac didnt work so i thought that it might just need a charge, but then after i charged it, still didnt work..but the way i see it there is no power going into my ac..the fan doesnt even turn on..but i check all my fuses.. my heat still works too so i have no clue what the problem is.. is it possible that the connection of the sterio can cause a shortage to the a/c system..

The A/C will not start unless the temperature is above about 40 degrees F. The light on the button will come on but the fan and compressor will not engage.

Yeah, put the car in a warm shop or garage for a half hour or so and then try it. You can check for voltage at the compressor.

When you charged it, how many PSI of pressure was on the high and low sides?
