so, you have disconnected the fan and the fuse still blows, right ?

Hey,

Did you find the problem? I have a 1996 EX that is blowing the fuse for the AC fan.
disconnect the wire that goes to the compressor, start the car and put a/c on, compressor will not come on ,, I know , but if fuse does not blow you got an issue with the compressir clutch coil ,, or the thermo switch located on top the compressor

if it still blows fuse than you can eliminate those things..and we have to diagnose further ........ let us know

No, did not try anything yet. But will do once I getr home.
