Question 99 EX Upper Arm Ball Joint Replacement

Can the upper arm ball joints be replaced separately or does the whole arm get replaced?

For questions like this, look up your car on hondaautomotiveparts dot com and find the exploded drawing. It will show which parts are sold separately.

On the older models, the joint was a permanent part of the arm, so the whole arm needed to be replaced.

Ron - I saw the tech man on replacing the boot/re-grease but it does not offer a procedure for replacement. At hondaautomotiveparts.com it shows the whole arm replacement for $90 when O'Reilly's shows just the ball joint for as low as $24. I guess I pull the arm off and have a look see and go from there. Thanks for the replies.
