Default 99 DX Timing Belt broke

Doh! What am I looking at? Bent valves etc?
Can I take head off and change valves myself? Or is there more involved to replacing valves?
Money is a BIG issue- Got none....well almost none....

Really the simplest test is to put a new belt on, and see if it will run. If it does, great. If not, go from there.

^^That. Put on a new belt and see what happens. I have heard about valves needing replacement and that's it, or valves and pistons need replacing due to valves hitting the piston. At that point, I would just get another motor in good running condition, change the T-belt and install that new motor.
