Default 99 Civic power window won't move!!

Rolled my window down the other day at work and the damn thing wouldn't roll back up. Figured it was the motor so I bought a new one, nope!!! The driver window works fine just the passenger side doesn't do anything, even make noises, nothing. Just had my headers, cat, and exhaust done and has been a nightmare. LEV civics are not meant to have all this work done I guess. Anyway could having the work done have an effect on my wiring to my window by some chance?????

it could be a bad switch, bad connection. troubleshooting is your friend and it saves money.

and the i,h,e would have nothing to do with power windows.

you can try hooking up power dirrectly to the motor....that will at least get it up.....some times the drivers door switch for the passenger side can short out.....

good luck...windows can be a bitch.

i think its a bad switch but im only 40 % sure. becasue my 1st thought was a bad motor but u said u already change tht so the only3 thing tht im think of is a bad switch, bad fuse some where, or a bad connection.

ok say it is the switch. wouldn't at least one of the switches work if the other one didn't. neither the driverside switch for the passenger window nor the passengerside switch work when i hook the motor up. this window thing and the problems i'm having after doing my exhaust are making me want to just sell the car.
