Unhappy 99 Civic Manual Problems

Ok the issue is "weird" but I bet some of you know exactly what it is. Ok simply put my Stick wont shift into gears as well as its ability to move in any gear while the car is on without pressing the clutch down. I have two things in mind but I'd like to see what you guys say.

The problem is not very clear. Are you unable to put the transmission into gear either with or without the engine running? Please clarify.

I have no idea what he's talking about either. You do know how to drive a manual car, right? The Civic is the same as any other one. Push the clutch down to change gears.

yeah, what mk378 said, you have to press the clutch to change gears or to engage a gear, it should do it with the car off as well, that's how manual transmission is... >.<

I think he is saying that when he changes the shifter position, the transmission does not do anything... like he tries to put it in 1st gear but the transmission does not do so.

And then he is saying that he is able to move his shifter into any position without pushing the clutch pedal.

If what you are saying is correct, then he should check whether one of his axles popped out of the transmission.

Thats right Trust. I hate I konfused everybody else. But yes, I kan shift to any gear without pressing the clutch down (this is bad). On top of that, no matter if it says its in gear physically(the shift stick), the car still revs like its in neutral. I kan list what I think it is but I wanted you guys pure input on what you think it is.

Yeah, my Uncle told me to checked that. They looked normal. Would that still cause me to be able to shift without pressing the clutch down 1st while the kar is running?

Post pictures of each axle right where they insert into the transmission.

Also, while you're out there taking pictures, include a picture of the clutch slave cylinder area. It's in the front of the transmission, passenger side facing the radiator. I'd like to see if the shift fork somehow got stuck/slave cylinder malfunctioned.
