Default 96 coupe Installing a cigarette Lighter?

My friend has a 96 civic coupe ex(I have a 02 coupe, blue, love it)that for some reason did not come with a cigarette lighter. I was just wondering if this was a DIY project that will save some money. Can anyone give me some step by step instructions about the process including wiring, etc? THanks

go to your local autozone or similar parts store. Pick up a cigarette lighter. Hook up the positive (usually red) to the battery. Make sure you use an in-line fuse. Ground the negative (usually black). No problem!
