Default 95' EX very sluggish acceleration-Bogging down

I had a very crazy up and down idle for a couple weeks and figured out that it was because of my aftermarket throttle body gasket was not a direct OEM fit and was blocking a air hole. I fixed that but now I have a very slugish acceleration, it bogs down and has severe loss of power. I never had this problem til the idle problem happened. Anyone have suggestions?? does it just need to run a while to go back to normal?

First clear the ECU and run the car. Any CEL? Did you accidentally swap any sensor connectors?

Check Engine Light (CEL)
yes some sensors on the throttle body have the same type of pulg
and to me it sounds like an air leak

its a air leak take a can of starting fluid or wd40 and spray around where gasket was installed and see if engine revs.

If the engine is now idling to spec, then an air leak is highly unlikely. In addition, an air leak won't cause engine bogging. Inspect the plugs, cap, and rotor, and also check the ignition timing.

no leaks, plugs, wires, cap, rotor are all brand new. could the new plugs be fouled cause i drove it on a bad idle?

Inspect the spark plugs and check the ignition timing with a timing gun.

did you check the plugs on the intake mani because they can get swapped i had that same problem when i swapped enginges. it idled fine and when i gave it gas it just bogged down really bad and wouldn't rev up.
