I agree with the coil. We do have power coming out of the coil (the ICM tells it to fire, so I know its working.) To have power coming from the coil and not to the plugs tell me a few things.
1. The distibutor cap is bad. (the spot the coil hits to the middle where the rotor cap has continuity? misspelled.) Cap good.
2. The rotor cap is bad. (The cap has continuity from the top to the middle of outside (part that sends spark to wire).) Rotor good.
3. The Coil is not sending enough power to make it and create a spark in the plug....now were getting somewhere's.
I have not been able to test it at the moment, but i'm willing to bet that number 3 is the best direction to go. My wife and her father are sure its the battery...Could be but the battery was good when it was parked. All the sitting and trying to start def. killed the battery. I'm willing to bet tho that the coil may be good enough to have current but weak enough to not go through the wires. Any thoughts?

I think you are on the right track. I am right there with you. I DID replace the coil and expected it to fire....nothing. So I got an ICM too....still nothing!
I checked all the fuses, cleaned the ECU ground... the fuel pump comes on when I turn the key, bla bla bla.
I found a guy on ebay who sells entire distributor assemblys for around $100. I returned my $92 ICM and $80 coil and I am waiting for the whole dizzy.
I also killed the battery dead. I have a battery charger, but it is even beyond that now.
I get the part on Oct 1...I will post how that turns out.

Coil
I had replaced the coil with new...still nothing.
Here is a reply I got to this question from the guy I just bought a new distributor from:
If the plugs and wires are good, I would do a
inline spark test for fire at the plugs, if this
test results in no fire, then the problem will
either be a bad connection in the wiring for your
ignition system or a faulty distributor.

Take the cap off and hold a grounded test wire (simply a piece of wire with both ends stripped and one end connected to engine ground) near the coil output and crank. Bright blue sparks should easily jump 3/4 inch. If that's OK, investigate cap and rotor. If you only get small yellow sparks, coil is bad. No sparks at all (assuming the distributor shaft rotates, watch that too) could be bad coil, bad ICM, fuse, wiring, or ECU problem. Again, never let the coil fire into an open circuit.

Yea. I took it to a shop the said the whole distributor was bad(The coil and ICM tested fine). and the wires were in the wrong firing order so it blew the plugs. bahbahbah bull ****. 1342. is the firing order. I know for a fact they were on right. The distributor was turning and everything. I'm thinking I will never be back to this shop.

Yea,
Last time my wife took something to the shop (dealer) for an oil change, I found transmission oil in the garage under the car the next day.
Went under the engine and found that all the bolts on the pan had been loosened.
I am sitting here this morning with my new distributor in front of me....almost afraid to bolt it on...

Unbelievable!
So I bolt on my new dizzy....and nothing. The little Honda batt. is by now DOA, so I use my big Nissan Van batt. to crank...and crank....and crank.
I am so ready to kick something...I KNOW it is the Distributor, but the new one still won't fire the thing over.
So...jack up the car, take the left front tire off and (in Neutral) I crank the
engine flywheel counterclock wise with a 18mm socket. I have my thumb over cylinder #1 (spark plug out, distributer 2 and 7 pin plugs disconnected) and wait to feel compression. Then I look at the timing mark and KNOW this is TDC.
I take the cap off the distributor and find that the rotor is pointing at #4!
There is NO-WAY to mess up the distributor alignment because the teeth that engage the camshaft are offset. Only one way to install.
The #*&% factory put the distributor together with the teeth on wrong by 180*. I took the retaining ring off, pushed out the pin and spun the gear on the right way.
Installed and.....it started right up!

congrats man. we picked our up yesterday (with all the parts). They changed their story with the plugs, they said they just cleaned them and put them back in when we asked for them. mmmhhmmm. now the muffler assymbly and inspection and I can have my truck back hahaha. thanks for everyones help with this issue.
