Default 95 civic blown head gasket

Hello I dont know here my post went so Im posting again. I have a 1995 civic Lx with 150000 miles on it. Used k and w block sealant on it. dunno if that will hold or not. Im still contemplating doing the headgasket. Do heads usually warp when overheated? Is an autozone or advanced auto head gasket set any good. Do I need to replace the head bolts? Compression on 1, 3, 4 is 185 and on 2 is 110..not too good. Dunno what factory specs are on compression. Id appreciate any tips and tricks, things to expect when doing this.
It was blowing coolant out like a geyser on startup if I left the cap off. I dont think its doing it now.

i posted this in your last thread its right there not hard to find.
https://www.hondacivicforum.com/foru...ad.php?t=76337

but it is better to start your own thread

we have a few members that have just had a head gasket replacement
its not to hard. yes it has a blown head gasket.
just buy a oem stock gasket from local part store.
when head is off take dizzy and cam gear off also make sure valves arent sticking out
a mill is just them giving the head a slight shave to make it perfectly straight it usually costs from 50-100$ depending where you go.
i believe your headbolts should be fine but if in doubt buy new ones.
just pull your intake manifod off and you exhaust manifold, pull timing belt off then remove the dizzy. then remove valve cover and then head bolts.

nuts I didnt even realize I was posting a new thread in someone elses. Guess that happens when your loosing yoru 25 dollar an hour job.
Does the head most times require a mill job? Or can I take a straight edge and check to see if its flat?

A mill job is like a $60 insurance policy. I'd do it every time.
