Put an impact socket on a big breaker bar, put it on the crank bolt, brace it on the frame, and crank the engine for a split second (pull the coil wire to avoid starting it). One thing: just make sure you brace it the right way. Hondas turn counterclockwise, so you need to keep that in mind.

WELL IF THE MOTOR TURNS COUNTERCLOCKWISE AND THE THREADS ARE NORMAL, ITS GOING TO TIGHTEN THE BOLT.

Well, there's a special tool to take it off that holds the crank pulley, but it might be kind of hard to find one.

yeah Kappa, that tightens the bolt on a honda. i almost broke some crap on that Lude i was doing. and yes, the threads are normal, its just hard as hell to get them loose. i know i shouldnt, but i can never get it off without a big freakin impact wrench.

****, you're right. My mistake. I forgot about the directional difference [:'(]. I know the cranking thing works on any other car, but I didn't make the connection between engine rotation and thread direction... I'm an idiot.

it happens. but that would work great on a normal engine. is it only hondas that spin that way? i know its pretty rare. even the K-series doesnt.
