93 Delsol backup reverse light help

93 Delsol backup reverse light help
Backup lights would not come on. Install new backup light switch. Work for a while butnow backup lights stay on in 1st thru fouth gear and in neutral, go off in 5th gear and come on inreverse. Is it switch, in trans,linkage or other?
