Default 93 Civic starting issue

I have a 93 civic that doesn't seem to wanna start all the time. When i turn the key on and push in the clutch I get a clicking sound from the upper top left side of the dash. almost like it's a bad relay? possibly a common prob with the 2 switches on the clutch pedal assembly as to why it won't let it start? any info would help me out greatly

Intermittently won't crank is often the starter itself. Test by jumping the starter using a wire from battery + to the small terminal on the starter. This bypasses the key, clutch switch, etc. Also check for bad connections at the battery.
