Default 93 CIVIC LX HELP HELP HELP...

MY 93 CIVIC ENGINE IS RUNNING UP AND DOWN.. WHEN I START IT UP. AND WHEN I'M AT A LIGHT.... WHAT IS THAT.... !!! PLEASE HELP.....

sounds like a bad tps or O2 sensor

that is the TPS.. the green sensor on top of your intake manifould..

this happened to my friends and he took it in and payed for people to work on it and try and figure out what it was... nothing

called the dealership and turns out he was low on antifreeze...


you're talking just between like 1,000 and 1800 rpms constantly right?

its seem the engine to be breath

try to scroole and adjust some thing in the intake manafold..

This was happening to me. I was running idle at around 2400 rpms.
I'm not exactly certain what it is called, but there is a accelerator 'trigger'(sorry for my crappy lingo). You loosen the bolts to the immediate right of that and the idle will run at different RPMs.
don't do this if you have no idea what I'm talking about, no telling what a simple mistake may do when it's lost in translation.
