Default 93 civic 5spd won't move

A little background first..
it all started when I pulled the motor and tranny to do the headgasket and timing kit. when we put it all back together and back in the car it wouldn't move at first...so we figured one of the driveshafts wasn't in all the way and we were right...popped the passenger driveshaft in all the way and the car was able to move..

so 10 mins later i'm driving and go to shift into 2nd and let go of the clutch and hear a bang and the car stopped pulling and wouldn't move once again..so i figured the driver side driveshaft wasn't in all the way and popped out as well...so we jack up the car and checked it and it was in fact in all the way..and when in gear the speedo goes up when you rev the engine and you can also put it into gear without pushing in the clutch

so we figured the tranny was the problem...swapped it for another tranny (pulled the whole engine and tranny once again bc there was a coolant leak we couldn't find) and still the exact same problem...so we thought it was the clutch disc or pressure plate...pulled the tranny off and swapped the clutch...still the same problem!!

Any insight would be greatly appreciated..sorry for the novel lol

The speedo is driven by the output gear in the transmission, so when it goes up, it proves that (almost) everything in the transmission is moving normally and it almost has to be an axle problem.

Lift both front wheels off the ground and with the engine off put it in any gear. Turn one wheel by hand and the other one should rotate in the opposite direction (due to the action of the differential gear). Then if you have someone hold one wheel still you should not be able to turn the other one. Look at the axles and CV joints to see where the motion is being lost.

If an axle keeps popping out even though you had it clicked all the way in, put a new spring clip on it.
