Angry 92 civic hatch strangely not starting

just bought the car with mini swap. that went about 15 miles before blowing a hole through the side and blasting apart the crank. checked for p28 ecu and bought d16z6 engine for replacement but now that wont start. reset timing, checked injectors and spark. all checked out fine. car just turns over. doesnt fire at all. anyone with any ideas?

yea checked all the fuses. it has spark for sure and a fuel injector leaks a little so im assuming it gets gas as well. not sure what else to look at.

It is possible (though not easy) to put the dizzy on 180 degrees out of time. Set the engine at TDC1 according to the cam and make sure the rotor points at #1.

no the dizzy only goes in 1 way and 1 way only.

set your timing to tdc and make sure its in time.

finally got to working on the car again. timing is on 100 percent. but if my eager friend turned it over beforehand could ihave bent the valves? doing compression test later. any other way to look at them? the head from the old motor is still good. but i don't want to swap them unless i have to.

have you poured a little bit of gas into the throttle body to see if it will start up?

used carb cleaner. after correcting timing last time we get occasional pop and bangs. still wont start at all. thought maybe valves or ecu. just double check p28 A00 is d16z6 ecu correct?
