First make sure the mechanical timing is perfect. If so, you'll need the right distributor.
The OBD0 fan switch is located at the rear of the block. For your swap, the fan switch on the thermostat housing will ground (Yel/Grn wire) the radiator fan motor, which gets power (Blk/Yel wire) through fuse 15:

yes a vtec dizzy's bolt holes doesnt line up with the head's bolt holes. and vice versa.
yes hook the fans up like mentioned ^
for it wanting to die when you give it gas, check the wire harness there are 2 plugs that have the same type of plug and gets easily crossed. the tps senor and the map sensor

just wanna run somthing by u guys real fast for the fan motor the female plug out on the harness has blk/ylw n blu/gry i dout it makes a difference but do i run the ground from thermo sensor to the blu/gry since theres no ylw/grn
