91 DX Racing Idle

Okay, found my timing gun. Can someone please give a diagram of what I need to jump under the dash in order for the timing to take. Oh and another dumb question, where are the timing marks on this car - I looked in the normal places but I cant find them.

Thanks so much for the information - Can you send me page 6-236? It says to check the throttle control system if the idle is excessively high. Thanks!!

FOUND IT

A Vacuum hose that is attached to the throttle control and the manifold had come off, It runs great now - Thanks so much RONJ - the diagrams and your insight were most helpful! Selfless giving, something not really found much anymore. I just hope this thread will help somebody else one day.

idle screw should be fine but its a possible but u probably have the distributor all the way in advanced turn the car on try sliding the distributor in the middle first go half n half or go alittle more down to retared mode that should help lower idle
