I have a 90 civic 1.5 hb and it stopped running. I have checked the brain box and it flashes 16 times, i have replaced the fuse / main relay and still nothing. I don't hear the fuel pump kick on when i turn on the key? NEED HELP PLEASE I have taken the fuel pump out and hooked it to the battery and it works but i have no power at the harness where it plugs in at.

 

Is the main relay getting battery voltage? If so, the problem is the main relay or fuel pump connector or the wires in between.

 

Is the main relay by the fuse box if that is it yes it is clicking when i try to start it

 

Main relay is to the left of the fuse box above the left kick panel.

Did you already replace the main relay? If so, do these electrical tests:

 

is the starter turning?

 

main relay is new and motor will turn over but will not start. I put gas in the carb and it will run

 

Doing the electrical tests in the posted picture above should identify the problem.
