Default 230,000 maintenance priorities....

First of all, thanks to all who give their time and effort giving others advice, I really do appreciate it....I just bought an excellently maintained 2000 civic ex with 230,000 miles. its my third honda. I want it to run forever, but dont know where to start with some of the larger long term maintenance issues, for instance, it has had a water pump and belt at 100,000, should i do another pump? radiaotr flush, manual transmission fluid change,....its never had a fuel filter....what first and foremost? thanks guys!

Welcome.

It's overdue for another timing belt/water pump/belt tensioner/valve adjustment. I'd make that your priority. Change transmission fluid next (use only genuine Honda fluid. Trust us, it's the right move). Change fuel filter too. I'm about to do mine and I'm at 123K miles. Radiator flush... meh, as long as the system is still full and not leaking... I dunno. That's a question for someone else.

I agree with the timing belt, water pump and tensioner.. I bought a used motor and install it bout a year ago and didn't change it then, so I just did mine 2 days ago. It not that bad, although it takes me about 3 hours.
