Default 2009 civic dx had trouble starting

Hi there.

I had a bit of trouble starting my brand new car this morning. Sure there was an unexpected snow-shower, but the temperatures were hardly that frigid (probably about 35 degrees F).

On the second try it started, but kinda had the same death rattle that my recently departed 1996 Saturn had. I was sort of hoping that by buying a new car I could at least have two years free of the fear that I might have to call a tow truck (as I was getting to know those guys pretty well).

Am I panicking for nothing? The car has less than 500 miles on it and I have had it for only a month. Do I have a lemon??

You're probably panicking. How low were you on gas?

Are there any other details you're missing to tell us?

Keep us updated.

The car has probably a quarter of a tank?

I know sometimes when I'm at a quarter tank it takes a second and abit longer to start or even more if I'm really pushing it. Also how long was your car sitting ?

The car sat overnight. Usually it is OK in the AM though. We did have a drastic change of weather from Wednesday which was 60 degrees to Friday which was 35 degrees (with a freakish snow which lasted two hours).

If it happens every time (full tank of gas or not) I'd take it in, but as for now It's probably not an issue.
