2004 honda civic lx overheating
I have a 2004 Honda civic and its been over heating I was wondering where the thermostat housing was located so I could replace it. I think its in the front of the engine but I'm not entirely sure. Any tips on how to do this would help greatly thank you.

It's inside that domed part with the sensor on it, like I said where the hose from the bottom of the radiator meets the engine. On older models it is on the back of the engine but not here apparently.

The thermostat is part #5. Remove the two bolts securing part #7 to access it. It looks like you will need to bend the clip (15) out and maybe detach the wiring harness to reach the head of one of the bolts.
