2004 civic really rough when braking?!?
Hi, I just recently had my front brakes replaced as well as 2 new tires on the front. I did not get it aligned yet, but it does not pull either way. However, the steering wheel is out of alignment. Ive noticed since I got new front brakes and front tires that when I brake (light braking to heavy braking), my car vibrates like crazy. I even hear a grinding like noise coming from the tires or brakes. I understand that being out of alignment may cause SOME vibration when braking, but this is very extreme.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

My question is did you replace the rotors when the brake job was done? If not i would say they are worped. I have never seen a car vibrate when braking do to the alignment. I worked at a Honda dealer for a little over a year and have never seen that.

sounds like my problome... i took my car to get new pads, rotors and a master cylender. ever since then (4 months), my breaks squeel like they need changed.. i put the brakes on and the car vibrates, i took it back to the shop 4 freaking days later and the shop went out of business. im wondering if they just threw oil on em to stop the squeeling for a few days knowing they were closing.. i diddnt know, otherwise i wouldnt have spent over 300 bux on it lol.
