I have a '03 civic lx and I want keyless entry but I have a few questions before I go impulse shopping on ebay. Where is my car's FCC ID and how do I compare it to the remote's ID? The remote also has a FCC ID, would they be the same?

Also, whats the easiest way to find out if your car already has a keyless entry module/receiver? Would there be a box visible somewhere?

should be behind the area where your cig/ 12 volt power plug is. open up that area, and in there behind the trim, should be your keyless entry module. look for the fccsticker on it. there ya go. now you can go impulse shopping,
