when i start the car @ random times it will start to stutter and feel like it is going to stall on me when i put it in 1st gear and try to drive off. if i shift to neutral, when i press the gas pedal it will not rev the engine (feels like it will stall but has not yet) then it will slowly start to pick up and the engine will start to rev, then if i let it sit for about 2min it will "clear up" and i can then put it in gear and drive off.

i put new spark plugs in it and i changed the air filter. it has done this now on several tanks of gas. it also feels like it's not getting "enough" power @ higher speeds. it was not doing this before i changed the plugs and air filter but it did not happen right after either maybe 3 weeks went by 1st.

the check engine light is not on and the car has 106,xxx miles.

also when i needed to get parts for this i'm asked what model and it's not written anywhere on the car. it's 2dr power everything cd player and has a sunroof, disc brakes in the front and drums in the rear. does anyone know the model it is?
