2002 honda civic ex running very rough
We finally made a honda purchase about a month ago, its ran great up until a few days ago (i found out 2 days ago, but she says its been doing this for 3 or 4 days before that), it only ran a tiny bit rough, nothing to freak out about but something i was going to get checked well randomly this morning the car barely runs, i means it runs extremely rough. Any help?
No check engine light came on either, i guess it ran a little rough like it has been last night, and it just started this morning.
The car has 150,000 miles
timing belt was changed a little after 100,000 miles
It has an aftermarket alarm system, and air intake.
I did find this wire tore up and with out a plug, any idea what it goes to?
Thank you in advance for the help, i would like to get this fixed soon because i gave her my car for the day since i had the day off.

That wire looks to be for something aftermarket. Where does the other end go?
First check that your CEL works by turning on the key but don't start, the CEL should come on for a bulb test.
Disconnect the fuel injectors one at a time while it is idling to see if the problem is related to one cylinder. When you disconnect a good cylinder, the engine will slow down and run rougher. Disconnecting a bad cylinder will have no effect.

My 02 also started running like crap at about 160,000. Come to find out I have a bad valve in cylinder #4 and I also think valve guide because it burns oil like crazy but doesn't smoke. The spark plug in that cylinder has a lot of white build up on it so I am guessing that is why the valve guide is bad. I have changed plugs 3 times in this car since I purchased it with 24,000 miles on it mainly because the second set I didn't care for.
