2002 Civic Ex AC not blowing air
#13
Update - the diagnostic advice worked like a charm. I received a code 12, the wires all had the proper voltage so I bought the power transistor (blower motor resistor at the parts store) and it's working perfect. Thanks to all!!

Thank you!!!! Thank you!!!
Last Friday was an extremely hot day (107F), my AC was working for about 10 min, I parked my car and then the next time I turned it on, no air was coming out of the vents.
The AC light came on, but no air was blowing.
I ran the self diagnostic, by turning off my car and with the recirculation button and defogger button held down, turned my car back on. The light blinked 12 times, which indicated an issue with the blower motor circuit.
I replaced the blower motor resistor for about $50.00 and my AC is blowing cool air again!
I wish I could have found a transistor, I would have tried that.
Thank you, this was amazing!!!!!!!!!
