me too .

and whats weird is all that clunking and jerking and noise we thought was a motor mount (we checked them all, theyre fine) , was the ripped through front LCA bushings.

heres a vid i found that helped me out . . . mine were ripped through JUST like his old ones ...
he used the same type bushings too.

I need to replace my front LCAs because of a clunk, too. My buddy had the same problem with his Altima; replaced literally everything in his front end, except the LCAs were good. Needless to say, he replaced them and all is well for him.

OP, keep an eye on the ES bushings. While they are great, easier to install and all that, they tend to wear out much faster than the stock rubber pieces. You may start to hear clunking again after 2-3 years.

yeah, i actually read that before i bought them... but it is such a piece of cake to put the 2 front ones in (1.5hr job) that i wont mind. and with ohio roads , ill be lucky to get 3yrs!

any job you can do yourself if better than spending $30 a bushing to be pressed in! maybe by then ill find enough uses to buy a shop press. i was actually going to weld up a bracket to go on my log splitter and use that. its a 30 ton splitter. heres pics of the idea.
