2000 toyota sienna wiring problem
My mom listens to loud music and but her speakers are blown and her head unit doesn't work well. So we got her an alpine cda-9883 and i went to circuit city to get a wiring harness but the darn thing doesn't fit. They don't make one for what i was looking at. So i decided to hook them up manually. I get the power all hooked up. (p.s. the wiring diagrams that i found wouldn't work for the car. i don't know why but they are wrong.) anyways then i take out the back speakers to see what color they are so i can connect it and after i connect it they don't work. The cd player works but the wiring is no good. So now i have to go out and buy speaker wire and rewire my moms car. Any ideas on what could be happening. o and i tryed that hole battery thing with no luck. what do you guys think is wrong? Ive installed cd players before but toyota's are such pieces when it comes to having to wire them up. This is the second and the last one i will ever do.

Just want to make sure I understand correctly - everything works fine except you aren't getting any sound out of the speakers?
If so - do you have a multimeter that you could use to test the wires so that you're 100% sure which is which?
