Default 2000 civic 2Dr sedan windows inop

Need help with a power window problem. Both of my windows cannot go up or down. I tried changing the switches with ones from the local used Honda parts stores with no luck. I know the window motors work because if I power the motors directly with voltage they go up or down. I checked the window switch connector and it has voltage atone of the pins, but, don't know exactly which wire is supposed to be power and ground. I don't have a Honda wiring schematic so I am clueless. Has anyone come across this issue before. The used window switches that I tried look and the same, but, could it still be different. Thanks in advance..

Start by checking whether fuse #41 (80A), 42 (40A), or 46 (40A) in the under-hood fuse/relay box or fuse #10 (20A), 11 (20A), or 24 (7.5A) in the under-dash fuse/relay box is blown.

If they are fine, perform the master switch input test described in this picture and the one in the next post.

Depending on the test results, you may also consider checking the window relay in the under-dash fuse/relay box and the master switch.

By the way, which window switch do you detect power from?

Found the problem. The switch would have 12 volts on 2 wires, but, the minute you switch the window down or up the voltage would drop down to 8 volts. So it has a bad connection or wire somewhere. I jumpedthe wiredirectly to the battery for testing purposes and the windows all work fine.
