I am new to the forum and looking for some help.


Well I found out today my driver side headlight or headlight cover or lens which ever it is has been shot out by some one with a bb gun


Well I figured if I have to replace one lens I might aswell by a set of good looking ones. my problem is how do I remove the lens? I hear that you may have to take off the bumper is this true.

No you don't have to take off the bumper. Take the corner light out first and you can then reach all the bolts that hold the headlight module in. Note that there is a hole to reach down and remove the bottom inside bolt. Now you can replace the whole module, including the plastic frame and the adjuting mechanism, or just the glass lens/plastic back reflector assembly. If you opt for the less expensive latter option, you may run into trouble with the bolts that hold the reflector to the plastic frame being rusted up.

 

dito, ya dont replace the lense, ya replace the whole thing. not hard to do at all.

my hardest thing was when i instaled my 94s full projector headlights now it was tight as hell!!!!!! would have been easier with pulling the bumper for the full piece headlights, but if its the stock headlight and seperate side corner lights then its a breeze!

 

Can you recommend some good light the whole assembly I could purchase that would fit? Thanks alot guys helped alot.

 

Stock one is easiest, and most certain to fit and work. Try to find a used one at a local scrapyard first, or one of the mail order discount dealers.

 

we have a place called u pull it i went there before but they didnt happen to have my car. Any one know a site. I tried looking on summitracing.com but didnt see them

From the looks of it no, but you do have to take out the turn signal
