1993 Honda Civic EX Odometer Help
Yea, i recently bought a 1993 honda civic ex and the seller said the car had 99k miles and was parked for a long time, well the odometer showed (990134) And is said it was 99,013.4 miles and rolles over at 99,999k I started looking online and i dont belive this is supposed to roll over[] I keept looking but couldnt find the awncer. I looked at some cars on ebay and they when it says 124,345k on the odometer they list it as 124k If the odometer doesnt roll over im sueing him for messing with the odomter and in CA thats a big big no no. And i'll report to the police tomarrow if this is true. I need to know if they do roll over, if they dont, is there any model that does? There is only 6 digit spots for numbers on top then below has 3 digit spots and a way to reset the bottom meter.

so whats the milage on the cluster say now? the speedos dont have 0.1 only the trip meter has 0.1
i HIGHLY DOUBT that someone would be able to roll the cluster over..... BUT i can see the original speedo going bad and needed to be replaced.
lets face it 1 MILLION miles.... unless he was always driving coast to coast thats imposible.
they do go bad! my 94 speedo went bad shortly after i bought it BUT i was able to find a speedo on ebay that only had 1K miles more so its all good for me
heres what my cluster looks like. large so you can see the numbes better.
(and no the greens not stock) [8D]

It's a 6 digit odometer so it shouldn't roll over until one million miles. If the first digit is stuck at zero it is very likely that someone rolled it back and broke it in the process.
