1993 honda civic dx 1.5 CEL help

Default 1993 honda civic dx 1.5 CEL help

i pulled a cel code 9 and it says on here it was the NO 1 cylinder position.
i know the map sensor and the vss i also pulled and i know about that but this nis a rebuilt motor and i dont understand. what does the Code 9 mean and what do i have to do?

first reset ecu, if codes come back
could be distributor, The Orng and Wht wires from the CYL sensor inside the distributor run to the ECU. Use a multimeter to check both wires for an open or short, should test 460 ohms. These wires pin B11 and B12 of ECU connector B. If both wires are fine, swap in a known good ECU.

90% of the time its the distributor, replacing it fixes the problem
