RE: 1992 handa civic vx questions
what was the stock motor?....i think a d16z6 comes from a 92-95 ex so that would be an easy swap...they run about 125 hp and ive heard that they are easy to mod...and because it is a sohc it wont be that expensive....and because it is a d seiries motor you will be able to use your stock tranny... as far as the rust sorry never have replaced anypanes...good luck
there are many more engines you can choose from but the prices will go up from there
somebody correct me if im wrong on any of this info

RE: 1992 handa civic vx questions
Actually the 92 vx has a 1.5vtec engine. Producing a 102hp at 5900rpm and 92lbs of torque at 4800rpm im pretty sure. Maybe a little off on rpm's but right on hp. And the engines get 55mph highway and 48mph city. I have been studying polls for over 3 months and people have gotten no less then 38mph and 80% got around 60mph on highway So there great on gas. The vtec on the engine isnt for hp. Its for gas mileage. If you search yahoo there are ton of sites saying the cars are good if u take care of them. And there GREAT on gas.
