Question 1983 honda civic station wagon

I need help with how to remove the metal hose that connects to the heater and comes out the bottom of the motor. This hose is located above the starter and tees to the heater connect. After reading on here that not too many have this old of a car which manual would be the best to purchase to use for repairs? Thanks.

Have you looked for an early model book? Amazon, ebay etc.

Yes I have found two repair books and I am trying to decide which one will be the most helpful one is Haynes and the other is Chilton.
