I am having a 1.6EL 2000 Manual non VTEC.
I recently have some idle roaming and throttle problems.
My car 's rpm will go up and down AFTER it warmed up, but not before. It will go up and down around 500-1000 rpm.

It wont go away until it gets to a point that the up and down is so small that it stay at a fixed rpm. However, you can still see it moving up and down for around 20 rpm.

Then the check engine light will come up with the code "Idle control system malfunction".

After that, when trying to drive at constant speed, the car will sudden lose of power and suddenly kick off.

I have already replaced the throttle position sensor, cleaned the throttle boday and idle air control valve sensor. It still does not work. Please help.

Everytime after I refill the gas and start the car, it will stall unless I keep giving it some gas. It only happen after I refill the gas. I am wondering if this got something to do with my other problem

- When I go to the dealer, and ask for my car, they show me the VTEC parts. I am wondering if my car is not normal having a non VTEC engine?
