Default 08 Hybrid: sporadic buzzing (cycling) sound behind driver side dashboard....is this normal??

I have a 2008 Civic Hybrid that has a sporadic buzzing noise coming from behind or inside the driver side dashboard. It happens every3 to 15 minutes, but only lasts a few seconds. Typically happens at slower speeds, more frequently when braking, but can also happen when not braking. Is this noise normal? The dealership is trying to tell me that it is normal. It’s hard for me to believe that a new car would make such a sporadic, irritating buzzing noise, that occurs randomly. If not normal, I suspect it could be related to the ABS modulator/ pump since there seems to be a relation to the braking system. It seems to have a cycling sound to it. I can “force” the buzzing sound to happen when I pump the brakes hard about 20 times when the engine is on. I would appreciate any clues about what could be causing this…..or if it is normal then I’ll learn to live with it.
THANK YOU!

doesnt sound too normal to me. Might it be the batteries trying to get energy from the cars braking power?

Justin, call the dealer. All you will get here are some educated guesses until an expert comes along.
NO OFFENCE to anyone... K?
