01 Civic leak

01 Civic leak
I just bought an 01 Civic. It has a leak, but the mechanic I brought it to who is extremely busy basically said the leak is minor and isn't worth fixing for a 10 year old car. He said it's not worth risking breaking something else in the process. I attached a few pics. I'm hope to get anyone's thoughts on this. Thanks.

A leak of what? From where?
That really looks like just 10 years of accumulated grime. There's nothing wet or dripping suggesting a serious leak. You could clean it off and then watch for where it reappears if there is a current leak. Of course check all the fluid levels and consider timing belt replacement if you don't know how old it is.

Also look at the oil pan as the gasket could be leaking other than that the one pic with the mount showing looks like it may have a VC leak but nothing serious looking. Purple Power is a great cleaner to get the oil and grime off to find out where its coming from.
