**HELP**Struts, Shocks for Honda Civic
What up?? Aiight heres my problem. I have a 93 DX, and where I live the streets are f****D up. Everytime I hit the littlest pothole or crack it sounds like my cars going to fall apart. I would Think that I need new struts and shocks, shockmounts, maybee some springs, I dunno. Now I got a guy that works on the side for me. He got it runnin after it sat for 2 1/2 years, may i mention it runs like a champ. A wounded one at that at 133,000 miles.
OK dude told me he could hook me up by ordering the parts for me and installing them(he works at Sears). I told him no cheap stuff goes on my baby tho. He told me that these GASMATIC struts are the best to get, @62$ a peice...he told me to do the whole thing would be $530$ including his labor.
Now my question to you is, Is this a good price? Should I look around? is it worth the money like I think it is? I know it's important to have your car obsorb impact and my baby doesn't. Shes hurtin yall HELP US...lol winter is comming.

never heard of that brand, it's probably just a OEM equivalent replacement. Depending on what you want to do, you could upgrade to performance shocks and lowering springs for not a whole lot more. But Sears probably won't let you bring in your own parts to be installed.

Gasmatic are model of Monroe and I wouldn't put Monroes on any of my cars. Go on ebay and get yourself a set of KYB GR-2. You can usually get a set for $150-200 and it shouln't cost you more than 200 to install them.
