So for those with a lot money (too much $) in their cars, make sure your full coverage insurance policy covers it. If they don't, take out another policy that will cover the additional parts.

well newer vehicles that have some kinda immobilizer they are difficult because you cannt simply bypass them. but they are not failproof, they only shut down the computer and well you dont have to start the vehicle to either break into it and steal what they want or to simply dray the car up onto a trailer or even simpler just use a tow truck.
the imobilizers only have so many codes to them... like on a chevy with the older imobilizers they have about 8 or so resistor codes. you just find the right one or have a friend at the dealership that is shady that has access to your vehicles code. shady people all over the place that can get access to even your key code from just your vin number!
for my 96 and 99 civic the dealership parts guy just needed my vin number and he cut me a brand new key! well my 96 wouldnt work for some unknown reason due to it being made in canada.LOL but anyone could walk up to your car take a picture of the vin or just write it down, give the numbers to there shady friend and have him cut you a brand new key or they can just make there own with a snip key cutter with the code and a blank key.

fullcoverage insurance is your best preventative maintenance you can do. because if they want it bad enough and have enough experience all it takes is a good @ss tow truck and under 30seconds and your rides gone geting towed away never to be seen right again... only to be found in the future, striped, gutted, torched.....
they you just HOPE your insurance company does you right! but either way its still better than a FULL LOSS...

very true!!!!! talk to your insurance company!
on my old civic i was going to set up a apointment to have my civic insured enough to cover most of my extras but i never did since he was always busy when i was free and i just forgot about it.
but i do have all of my extras documented with lots of pictures showing everything.
if i put much more in my truck or civic ill have it covered for more $$ to cover my additions.

price youll have to pay for a dui.... i got no idea if those will even fall off your record or not...

i know speeding tickets fall off your record after 5years i believe. i had all of my tickets fall off about5years ago i believe... my insurance dropped a lot from them falling off. think i had 4 that year that fell off. ive defiantly learned to not drive as stupid! still paying alot for car insurance but then again im insuring 3 vehicles. 2 full coverage and one storage.
