+1 Honda does need to step their game up and get off of that hybrid B.S. I can understand maybe 1 or 2 hybrids but like every damn car honda makes comes with a hybrid option. Honda is by far my favorite and best car manufacturer but they need something else besides the S2000.

 

All this talk of Evos, and STis has got my head aching, wallet yearning, and my heark breaking. I want them. Damn high school budget.

Alright. Today I went to the Subaru dealership. All they had, and all they planned on keeping in stock were the 06 WRX/STI's. I drove a TR WRX. Which stands for "tuner ready". Comes with some upgrades to the engine, and a bare minimum interior. Although the interior wasnt bad at all. Comes stock with about 230hp. I was driving it around town a little and the guy suggested we take it on the freeway. I wasnt pushing this car at all since the salesman was with me. And he kinda chuckled and said, dont be afraid to open it up and see what this car can do. So thats wat I did. Before I was even off the on ramp and onto the freeway I was going about 75. And it got there so quickly and so smoothly. The car just kinda glided across our S***ty California roads. It was great. I wish I had the money to buy a brand new one, Even tho I dont like the front end at all.

My bf met me at the dealership and went for the test drive with me, and even him, who basically only likes trucks, with the exception of a Camaro or Corvette said he thinks I should buy a WRX.

i told you they would have you hittin' the gas on the off-ramps to try and get you hooked on the power. it worked on me.

i was doin' over 80 mph before I hit third gear on the off-ramp I was on, and the salesman was grinnin' from ear to ear. lol.

I'm actually considering getting a WRX TR too. it's what they call a sleeper car. nobody notices it until they get blown into the wind.

one more thing. I bought an 03 WRX wagon for $22,600 on carsdirect. It retailed for $26,000 with options.

true. there's an uppipe, downpipe, too many cats to count, and muffler. lol.

a super easy and cheap mod for WRXs is an engine cpu reflash. the next thing most doods do is start replacing the pipes and muffler. and forget the cheezy BOV. WRX owners laugh at guys who have them. lol.

after that, nothing's off limits. you could spend your life savings on any and every type of mod. but all the mods ususally have noticeable impact over the standard engine.
