RE: You guys arent gonna kick me off or anything..
I didnt get to drive a WRX tonite because the Subaru dealership is almost an hour away, and I didnt have time to get out there before they closed. I did however drive a MR2 Spyder. I know I said I would never buy a Toyota and all that, but it looked clean, the interior was clean. But it only comes with like 130hp. Thats quite a difference from the Si. But it still felt like it had some power. Its rear wheel drive, no traction control, just ABS and limited slip differential. I dunno if Ill go back with my parents, but its a pretty car. Im still having debates with my parents about how much I can spend on a new car..So that obviously will make a difference in wat I end up buying..

don't buy the MR2. it's been discontinued so parts are gonna be scarce in a few years. especially body panels.
I don't think any of the civics have traction control. The bigger accords might, and I know the SUVs do, but i don't think you're looking for SUVs.
the WRX has AWD with a viscous-limited slip (if I remember correctly).
even the base RS's have the same setup. They even come standard with 173 horsepower flat-4 engines, so it actually has real good pickup compared to most civics.
and if you're thinkin' about EVOs, you need to consider an STi first, which are slightly cheaper and have a little more forgiving handling. EVOs have razor-sharp steering.
I've seen several wrapped around trees, because their noobie drivers couldn't handle the power/steering combination.
I saw one picture of a black EVO disintegrated after hitting a tree at over 100 mph in a 35 mph residential neighborhood. That dood's insurance would have definitely went up, had he survived.

Sorry to hear about the Si, but I can see where you would want to feel a little safer. I had an Si too, and have driven AWD cars, and theres a big difference in snow/rain/ice/anything that isnt fun to drive in.
IMO STi>Evo. If you can afford an Sti, definitely go for it, hell, if you can get just the WRX go for it. Ill envy you for sure.

IMO EVO>STi. First of all, the EVO out handles the STi in all the side by side comparasions i've read about. The STi is better in the 1/4. Second thing, EVOs look way better than STis. And if your gonna get an EVO, get it in Grey, i think they look the best in Grey.

Haha thanks Marnie! I like how the new car space is shaped just like an EVO haha.
O and I dont think I will ever get an Eclipse again. I wanted mine when I first bought it, and soon after was ready to sell it. Even the gs-t isnt that great. They have lots of problems with the little, stock turbo. Tomorrow Im gonna go drive the WRX. I doubt my mom would even consider letting me get an STI or an EVO honestly, cause she would soon realize I wanted them for the quickness. But she likes the idea of the AWD WRX. But I figure, its not like the guy at the dealership knows that my mom wont let me buy an STI, so theres no reason why I shouldnt drive both the base model, and the STI to see the difference.
