oh come on.. i feel my vtec when it kicks in.. it pushes me in the seat... on yeah..thats my clutchless auto that seems like it wants to be a manual when the tranny slips and over revs kills my gears and starts to grind.. but i do have to say.. i think i can hear when stuff like that revs in... no need for me to go out and get one of those vtec inside stickers

I am not hating on Nissan just wanted to point out that the Honda scene is not the only one with nut hugging fanboys.
I know you're not, and I agree with you 100%, however...

Same could be said about a H22 swapped EG Hatch......a easy high 13 second car and with fuel management and a turbo setup in the 12's.
...this is a much more difficult swap than an SR20 in a 240, and will ultimately end up being much more expensive.

No more expensive than a B18C1 swap, with the popularity of the K20 the prices for H22 swaps or more so the parts for them have went down alot.

Yes, it's true that prices on H22s have gone down a whole lot recently, but we're not talking about a GSR swap comparison...

well compaired to a SR20 swap which is in the $2000 to $2500 range the H22 swap is not any more. The only hard part per say is that you have to drill holes in your firewall almost in the floor to put in the cables for the shifter.

Actually an S13 swap is usually less than $1,500, but yeah, the S14s-on (the VVT blacktops) usually run $2,000+... The H22 swap (parts) will almost certainly be cheaper, but the install will probably take the final price higher than the SR20, since they're so simple to put into 240s, especially since you need to add a turbo.

Good point. However, I'd still say a turbo setup would push the H22 significantly higher in price.

I was not talking about boosting a H, just a H22 into a eg with bolt-ons and weight reduction is everybit the car as a sr20 240. Both of our points were made though, I'm not a honda fanboy and your not a Nissan fanboy. I just wanted to point out that no matter the automaker you have people that are blind to facts and ignore what else is out there.
