I wasn't going to buy one, I'm not too keen on having consoles to play with, I like functionality (computers) but when I saw the demo for grand turismo on the PS3, I wet myself. I cannot grasp how the **** they made a video game so ****ing life-like. I might buy one, but I'm gonna wait a bit for the price to drop, I will either buy one or invest 500-1000$ in my computer, which is already pretty decent.
The game was so real that I wondered to myself, did they completely remove all polygons or is it just because there are one billion polygons per square inch in this game? The backgrounds and scenery are 100% life-like. It absolutely incredible. I can't wait to see games like final fantasy on this concole.
I was always wondering how come consoles with lower end parts can run games better than computers, well lately I gave it 5 seconds of thought and realized that these consoles don't have to sustain the system and game at the same time the same way computers do it, when you play a game on a console the console gives its 100% to the game, and so it runs as smooth as a babies **** and I then realized that consoles we're probably the best things to play games with.
30 years from now, if I'm still around I am wondering what video games will be like...Damnit I just wet myself again. [

Yeah, I have to agree with you GTHD looks awesome. The car models look almost perfect, thanks to the supercomputer at Polyphony. But I get disappointed when I looked closer, there are absolutely no effects what so ever Video
A rally without smoke, dirt and debris, etc? It just look so dull among the beautiful scenery.
Then again look at a Forza 2 trailer

1. GT1-2-3-4 ownz all the racing out there
2. ps3 promises a lot
3. if GT5 is anything like i imagine then ill get the ps3 for sure. im planing paying credit card so i dont care.
4. GT5 will have an online option so i can play with whoever has it from here, cuz im sick and tired of playing the ai from the game wich sucks. i used to play a friend and he was ok to good but believe im really good. (not the cheater that would cut corners and hit you from behind as to get ahead of you)

Cut corner? In Forza you get penalty for cutting corner
Hit from behind? There's also real damage in Forza, nobody wants to hit you
