I will probably end up getting one in a couple years. I waited about a year before i got ps2 and psp. That way the bugs are worked out and more titles are available.
And LBH I think those two games are some of the few exceptions. If i remember correctly at gamecubes launch they didnt even support Mature rated games. All there was to choose from was tony hawk or mario.

UPDATE!! I went to EB games the other day, and i don't know if everyone knows this already, but the PS# will be out on the 17th of this month.. so anyoen planning on buying one i suggest you get your tents ready and go camping at their door

Anyone who buys a PS3 is rediculous, its overpriced, and the 360 has everything it does except blue ray....and the 360 has a high definition dvd player in it anyway. Sony stole certain aspects of the wii and incorporated it into the PS3 in order to try and get ahead of microsoft, which will not happen in any way shape or form. Funding behind microsoft exceeds sony by millions, so they have the ability to take things to a way higher level...and not to mention microsoft now owns many of the game makers, and holds there label under its belt. Sony has been going down hill, and the 360 just kicked them even further down square in the nuts.

Nope, not huge into video games that much. I have xbox and am happy with my nhl 07 and Forza for now. But, I work at Toysrus. I'm not looking forward to this day as I work in the mornings and am most likely opening the store that day. I'm just waiting to be trampled and such lol. But seriously, even if I wanted to get one right away, employees aren't allowed to buy the ps3 from the toysrus they work in.
