I want it but i think i will wait a little till the crowd leaves it alone.

 

my ps2 never worked well, which is strange cause my ps1 still works fine. i doubt i'l buy the ps3.

 

mine too ntx i had the smaller ps2 it lasted me 6 months then burned up. i still have my 7 year old ps1

 

Im not paying 600 bucks for a game system. I keep hearing that the Wii is going to be like 200 bucks, so I might pick one of those up in the future. As long as they release non-childish like games for it.

 

The Wii is aparently designed towards non gamers so there is supposed to be a lot of physical games where you actually have to move around for it.

 

ill buy one...........just not at launch...... i dont feel like fighting in line for one.

After working at a video game store through at least 5 major system launches I'd like to offer you all just one small piece of advice:

Don't. Buy. Launch. Consoles.*

They're buggy, they are likely to break on you. Suck it up, tough it out, and wait till they've worked out initial bugs. You'll save yourself the hassle of trying to return/exchange it.

To answer the poll question, just so I can stay on topic: Nope, I probably won't be.

*this rule does not apply to anything Nintendo makes. If anyone knows how to make sturdy, reliable sh*t, it's them. Any exceptions to this rule are so few and far between that they don't count.

 

Yes, but not at launch. Like some mentioned let them get all the bugs out then buy the PS3/Gran Turismo HD bundle.

 

The only thing I'd be at all interested in would be GT HD but, I'll save my $600 for gas and mods and drive my car, for real.
